In this autoethnographic-argumentative (expository) essay, I explored the topic "Who are you? How will algorithms target you?" By interviewing myself and reflecting upon it, I discovered, for the first time, the systemic relationship of my childhood experiences. This alone would be a giant leap forward in my self-awareness. However, alongside myself, algorithms are now trying to be aware of my choices. Will their ideas intersect with my self-awareness? Or are their views potentially problematic?
